Jet Engines --the anticipated follow-up to Amy's 2011 eponymous debut was co-produced by Grammy-winning guitarist Kenny Vaughan & recorded in Nashville. Following her self-recorded first start which received airplay in Europe on Americana radio, the all star supported sophomore offering (feat. Derek Mixon, Michael Rinne, George Bradfute) represents a step forward in terms of production while managing to preserve the essential quality of Amy's original style of writing and delivery. The eclectic moody blend of folk, alt and roots country also stands out as much for McCarley's writing as it does for her unmistakable uniquely relatable voice. Prompting Lonestar Music Magazine's inclusion as among its Top Americana Albums of 2014, Kerrville New Folk Finalist recognition, Honorable Mention in American Songwriter Magazine's Songwriting Contest, et al., Amy played over 200 dates across the country in support of the album while sharing stages w/ world class talents, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlative, Ronnie Milsap, and John Hiatt. After collaborating in 2016 with Bluebird Cafe round mate and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer, Pat Alger, Amy is once again back in the studio w/ esteemed colleague, Kenny Vaughan, this time w/ a stellar assembled cast including Chris Scruggs, Marty Stuart, Kenny Lovelace, Harry Stinson & returning co-producer, George Bradfute. Please stay tuned for a 2017 release date to be announced.
